I hate that they consider themselves legitimate writers too. I think people should learn to spell first...
lol if htpc's were popular for gaming, then we'd have comfortable htpc keyboard/mouse setups. i have a pc hooked up to my HDTV and using a mouse keyboard at my couch isn't as intuitive as sitting at a desk. hence the word DESKtop.
For the last time, PC DOESN'T COUNT because you don't play your PC on your TV on your couch in your living room.
it was pretty fun. but the save system did make you push forward, unfortunately, it didn't have an unlimited free roaming mode, which would have been perfect (did it?)
oh well, I'm sure they'll fix these issues in the second one. Then it'll be amazing.
Well, I hope they fix all these issues that you're seeing in MW3. I guess I just see it differently--like oh, this isn't COD4, so I'll just "adapt." I'm consistently getting at least 2:1 in all my matches. Not fantastic, but always in the top 3 or 4.
I think part of it is that I was sooo hooked to COD4 that I made myself adapt to MW2, despite the differences. I do agree, COD4 was much better experience. Although let's not forget the infamous glitch spots like in ...
Sony needs to nail down more then one dev for their Wands. This thing is coming out in a few months!!
Well said.
You make it sound like the game is one big glitch. It's pretty damn fun. I've run into a glitch or cheater here or there (maybe 1 game out of 100). But it's just as easy to leave the game and find another host. Problem solved. I can see it be frustrating for people who didn't play Call of Duty 4, since it moves at such a fast pace. I can also see how these people would consider it "cheating."
Trust me, you get to a point where it's no longer a twitch shooter. I...
I play it everyday too. When I'm not on Spec Ops (currently playing the 15 Juggernaut level on Veteran), I'm on Ground War. It's addicting as hell... I'm just happy I'm in the top million--it's so competitive.
I'll try to get my buds to team up so we can all play together. I can imagine it being awesome. The only problem is that I play more then my friends. THEY'D ONLY HOLD ME BACK! lol
Please bring back:
Holo-Duke
Pipe Bombs
Security Cameras
Shrink Rays
Jet Packs
TIA!
Always bet on Duke.
Google beta responses to Mag, it's pretty much unanimous that it's mediocre. Sorry.
It's a bit presumptuous to think that all hardcore gamers won't want to "jump around." Read the Call of Duty Modern Warfare Wii article on Kotaku that was posted today. It talks about the popularity of the game despite bad reviews.
Motion controls may not convert current "hardcore" gamers into jumping fools, but I think it can foster a new breed of hardcore gamers, as demonstrated by these people addicted to Modern Warfare on the Wii.
Sorry f...
They've probably done research and realized that multiplayer isn't lucrative and would most likely lead to problems (ie MW2).
Why such a negative outlook on Natal? And for SOME reason, the PS3 wands won't consist of shovelware? Has there been any announcement of wand-support from Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Team Ico, or Jaffe? If anything, the wands will serve as direct ports from the Wii, which will not just be shovelware, but shovelware-city.
Media Molecule is the only dev to say anything in support of the wand and look how "popular" LBP is. Looking back at the history of PS3 component sup...
Man this game looks amazing. Does anyone know if they've announced the music composer yet? I LOVED Angelo Badalamenti's score to Indigo Prophecy. I still listen to it now and then. It was beautiful and such an integral part of the game.
Who's doing the music for Heavy Rain?
"If it has as much support as the 360 has support from it's first party studios then it's screwed. Fact is 3rd parties are going to treat it just like the Wii and push out shovel ware after shovel ware with MAYBE a small handful of games that will be "okay"."
Fact, huh? Facts require proof. You guys make me sick.
That's understandable. So then, would you consider it a threat to the PS4?
Well he claims that it's from the Beta that's out right now. I remember reading a few mini-reviews of the beta. They seemed pretty happy with it. I guess we'll see in a couple of months.
